We showed you the release schedule for the sneaker a few weeks ago and now with the first colorway ready to drop we take a closer look. Gearing up for the winter Jordan looks to release this fall ready Spi’zike in the coming month. The upper has damn near every material imaginable done up in a dark cinder and other shades of brown that rests nicely against a glossy midsole. Spi’zike fans will note that all details are in tact and this should make a welcome addition to any collection.

Created to commemorate MJ’s 38 point performance during the Playoffs while suffering from the flu, The tongue sports the number 97, which is the year Michael accomplished it, followed by a sick face smiley design, and finally the 38 points.
The Vega rounds off the pack, featuring a mixture of black suede with tonal Deathwish print on the upper along with red accents on the inner and Supra crown. Available from this week onwards at all Supra Shoes retailers.
This season we have seen numerous collaborations between Supra and Deathwish, their latest effort is the Supra x Deathwish Erik Ellington Vega Model.
This beautifully designed skytop consists of a white leather upper complimented with lime green accents on the heel and a purple sole. The Palms logo is beautifully stiched on the outter heel corner to complete the exclusive design.
Lifestyle brand Supra allied with one of Las Vegas’ premier Hotels, the Supra Skytop Palms, to reveal their collaboration on the 4th of July. Using the Skytop sillhouette, Supra crafted 23 exclusive pairs for John Gray–the The Palms‘ special operations manager.
These Skytops are extremely limited and exclusive to friends and famliy.

The Dunk SB Shoes use the classic Griptape colorway and throws a little red in the mix to make it more vibrant.Yes one more picture of the new and improved –opinion- Griptapes. Look for these in stores soon. It is unclear the type of release this will be but expect the hype to be high if these are a quick strike.
Today We haven’t really focused too much on DC’s line-ups, but here we feature the DC Life Xander TX, which was originally thought to be releasing as part of their Spring/ Summer 2010 line-up. They sport a predominantly fluorescent lime upper, along with hints of silver and orange on the tongue and side panels. The use of bold colors is definitely intentional, as it will definitely draw attention.The good news is that they can be purchased now at DC’s online store for $120.

He mentions that it was his first attempt at customizing a Supra sneaker however he was impressed with the quality of the materials.

It’s amazing how the phenomenon of skate footwear has become an established facet of popular fashion. And as skate brands have realized this trend and receieved the limelight we have seen a drastic evolution in what look exactly defines a skate shoe. Supra and it’s popular model, Skytop, is a perfect example to this observation. Transcending the beefy, stuffy, and typically cheap look of older skate shoes, the Skytop fits a much more slick and sophisticated look. How would have thought skate footwear could look so classic enough to be able to get all dressed up with and hit the scene?
2009 DC Shoe’s golden boy is getting a very clean, limited edition shoe dropping in two color ways. Rob Dyrdek’s RD1 Mid is on its way to retailers in 2 colorways. The heavily perforated performance shoe comes in black/white or white/blue and will be a part of a larger release that will include hats and shirts. These may be available now if you know where to look.
Supra Shoes is more than Skytops and TK Societys. The Dixon is a classy sneaker silhouette that does not beg for attention but holds its own against the best canvas kicks. Here the Dixon upper is murdered out and sitting on a very gummy sole.
